School representatives are reminding students and parents of the instructions and ideas that were made public in early February when there were only tickets available for the 2024 Stephens County High School Prom.
No visitors over 20 years of age, and no one younger than the 9th grade may be allowed to enter the homecoming, which will be held Saturday, April 20 at Currahee Club from 8 – 11 p. m.
As we prepare for the homecoming, school officers request that parents and guardians work together to ensure that we keep the integrity of our graduation. Unquestionably, schools reflect world. When getting ready for the prom, we ask that you let your baby go by the edge of modesty. We are aware that this is a formal function and not a typical day of college. We understand that proper attire does not always adhere to the school day dress code, but if we are intentional in our homecoming preparations, we must acknowledge that inappropriate behavior and attire compromises the integrity of our higher school prom. We are conscious this is a great school graduation, no an adult formal occasion, we hope you do as well”.
No increased cleavage is prohibited by the itemized dress code for girls. Clothes may be backless as much as they are not cut below the waist, two-piece clothes are acceptable if respectable, and dresses should not be too short or pulled up when dancing.
The boys ‘ dress code requires wearing suits or tuxedos, shirts with the second button on the collar, and pants that are properly sized on the hips and do n’t sag below the waistline.
