MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA )- There are signs plastered all over the doors of Carver High School emphasizing the school’s dress code. Inside Angela Womack’s school, her instructions on how to dress for victory are a little more subtle.

The instructor is renowned for her love of fashion and training.

” I do know some of the kids look forward to seeing what Miss Womack is wearing, but I try not to make it a distraction”, she said. ” For me, it’s about competence. My professors always dressed to impress, that’s everything I saw, and that’s something that stuck with me. I hope my high school students perceive me as a model and as a model for her occupation.

In her class, Carver High School taught some direct instructions. Her more strong discussions focus on books and English. Quoting the university’s predecessor, George Washington Carver, she said she loves teaching great school. She’s been an educator for 13 years then, teaching in Virginia, Selma, and then Montgomery.

” I love English because it’s our uttered language, and it gives us the opportunity to show ourselves”, she said. ” With high school, I actually get to know and understand my students. They’re at the time where they can express themselves more attentively, more seriously, and more strongly”.

She encourages her students to keep regular journal entries to show their writing. Miss Womack’s clothes may appeal to some of the children, but she looks forward to seeing their happy faces every time.

” No two nights are everywhere, all the kids are different, with different characteristics”, she said. ” That’s why I love what I do”.
