Highcross style house closing before Christmas

November 24, 2023

Lacoste, a clothing retailer, is closing its city-center location in the Highcross Shopping Center. Following the closure of the Designer Furniture Outlet a few weeks ago, it leaves still another empty system in the shopping center.

The French fashion house has long been well-known in Highcross, but it will immediately join a growing list of shopping center absences. The store may nearer before Christmas, according to a notice posted in the storefront.

” Dear valued consumer, we regret to inform you that the Lacoste Leicester Boutique will close its doors on December 3, 2023.” We appreciate all of our clients ‘ loyalty over the years.

For more information, users are being directed to the Lacoste site. The closest Polo locations will be at the Designer Outlet East Midlands in Derby and the Trickier shopping center in Birmingham once the business is shut down.

Polo is located on the shopping center’s lower mall, across from the previous Paperchase location and next to the shoe store Dune. After the paper firm went into administration, Paperchase completely closed in April of this year.

The lower floor of the buying center’s French beauty string L’Occitane En Provence also shut its doors at the end of June. Tenants were informed via email that the Highcross Shopping Center would not be affected by the site’s day-to-day operations when it was placed into liquidation in February of this year.

At the time, City Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby declared that he had” no doubt” that the center would be purchased. Lacoste has been contacted by LeicestershireLive for opinion.
