WALLINGFORD- On Tuesday at Le Jardin Café, a night of fashion showcased the function of local designers while even raising money for charity.
Achiq Designs and Zaccariello’s Tailor and Formal Wear were two nearby businesses that were highlighted in the show.
The crowd was given a preview of the series available on the opposite side of creating by the café, which is housed in the area known as Achiq Designs.
The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut needed cash, so the show’s goal was to raise money in addition to showcasing the newest trends.
Several hors d’oeuvres were served to guests at the show as models walked down the runway.
People of all ages made up the designs.
One of the show’s models, Arianna Kaplan, wore paper case pants, BCBG booties, and a mock neck shirt with tiered ribbons detailing on the sleeves. She wore the dress with a” Michelle” necklace from Achiq Designs and gold hoop earrings.

Owner of Achiq Designs, Fabiola Giguere, was ecstatic about the movie’s attendance. Le Jardin Café is also owned by Giguere and her home.
We recently relocated from Cheshire because that was the location of our jewellery store, according to Giguere. ” The area was just so large that we decided to open a store as well, complete with shirts for men, gowns, and an area just for kids.”
There are dresses available for formal events like festivals, weddings, parties, and more. According to Giguere, plus-sized apparel may be available in the future.
The jewelry in the shop is made with gemstones by experienced Chilean artisans. The creator is Giguere.
A Fiori ring, a sailor necklace, and arete earrings are among Giguere’s beloved jewelry items, according to the site.
Some of Giguere’s creations were on display in the exhibition.
One of the models, Ilena Andrich, was dressed in a royal blue cut dress with flowering detailing and no sleeves. She even wore a ring and drop-leaf rings. Andrich is employed by Achiq.
Volunteer Emily Dechello collaborated attentively with Giguere on the show. The Magical Elf House that Dechello plans was likewise previewed during the style show. On December 16 and 17, the home will be held in North Haven.
Vicky Shimmield, who wore a drape-neck shiny super dress in plum, was one of the show’s other models. The outfit has end slits in the hidden back closure and changeable spaghetti straps. She wore a single crystal necklace in 14K and silver rings with her dress.
Isabel, Shimmield’s sister, took part in the show as well, donning a boatneck sweater dress in traditional dark and BCBG booties. She wore a Venice collar and Crisocolla Seville pearls as jewelry.
One of the other models, Michaila Stratton, was dressed in a dessert midi-skirted dress with ribs, collar, and pattern. A fedora hat with belt cut was worn with the clothing as a fun fall item. She wore whale earrings, an Equis Cuff ring, and a practice cubic zirconia ring as part of the outfit.
North Haven native Rafaela Mangilo took pleasure in watching the program with her mother and daughter.
” I actually liked the golden dress with the one-sided draped shirt.” Mangilo said,” I really loved it.
Mangilo claimed that Fabiola Giguere and her mother, who resides in Wallingford, are close associates.
Mangilo stated,” I firmly believe in the trigger, supporting the Ronald McDonald House, what they do for the kids, and having a secure location where you can prepare meals and return after surgery.”

After realizing the need for kids to be close to their sick children, the second Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia in 1974.
