Montréal- The well-known winter clothing company Pajar Canada has announced that it wo n’t be using any real animal fur in its clothing lines going forward. PETA put pressure on the company, and the product received more than 144,000 emails from the organization’s supporters pleading with it to outlaw fur. PETA is sending the business delightful vegan candy in the shape of wild animals as a token of its gratitude.

According to PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman, “fur belongs on the creatures who were born in it—it’s theirs—and no on hoodie masks or shoes for people.” Pajar Canada’s decision to join the vast majority of fashion and clothing companies that are avoiding the abhorrently callous hair economy is honored by PETA.

PETA observes that the majority of creatures killed for fur are raised in captivity, denied any chance of a normal life, and forced to spend their entire lives in disgusting, claustrophobic wire cages where they desperately pace back and forth ,gnaw on bars, then mutilate themselves before being electrocuted, gassed, or poisoned. Before trappers show up to shoot, strangle, hit, or stomp wild animals to death, they frequently suffer for days after being caught in a trap.

In order to outlaw leather, Pajar Canada joins hundreds of other well-known companies, including Canada Goose, Hudson’s Bay Company, Moncler, Moose Knuckles, Rusak, and Mackage. PETA is mobilizing the people to call for LVMH to do the same.

PETA, whose motto reads, in part, “animals are not ours to use,” opposes speciesism and a human-utmost worldview and discontinued its” I’d More Get Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign in 2020 in response to the collapse of the world fur trade and the transition away from fur by nearly all the top manufacturers in the world.
