MANHATTAN, Kan. ( WIBW)- The Military Relations Committee held its quarterly dinner now in Manhattan.

Fort Riley and community members spoke about the latest state of recruiting for the Army during breakfast at the Holiday Inn. Military discussed how both businesses and their desire to be involved in the neighborhood can help them.

” We have been trying to get one business after the work force and people who want jobs, so job fairs are where we have been trying to attack that and our AOand of sure, like high schools we do have, like a high class recruiting software that we try to remodel every year and a lot of times that helps develop our grad market as well,” said David Smith II, commander of the Manhattan army recruiting.

Additionally, Fort Riley offers a black tie military going where members can contribute formal attire to soldiers.
