In a seed funding round, New Delhi: The clothing company UNIREC has raised USD 1.9 lakh ( Rs. 1.5 crore ) from BeyondSeed, the company announced in press release on Friday.
According to the transfer, the money will be used to grow the brand marketplace and develop new, environmentally friendly fabrics.
The company’s CEO and founder, Kapil Bhatia, stated,” Our immediate purpose, fueled by this funding round, is to manufacture and sell 25, 000 clothing every month, making sure that the economic effects achieved in the previous 18 weeks is replicated each month.”
He continued by saying that the business had used recycled PET bottles to produce about 40.000 clothing in the previous 18 months.
The green clothing company was established in 2021 and is now present on e-commerce sites like Amazon and Flipkart.
