The little black dress, one of art’s oldest and most cherished items, has been for the past few years—and in case somebody had forgotten, only reminded us why the LBD is here to stay.
Immaculate, a journalist for her future horror film, stepped out in three different variations of the little black dress, demonstrating that it can still be the most intriguing clothing choice while doing push in New York City.
The primary search included a structured lengthy- sleeved tiny from Versace’s Spring 2024 set. With enhanced back pads and a pinched waist, the gown has an inflated hourglass silhouette. Beautiful pockets are located at the hips, and there is a silver zipper running down the middle, from the neck to the hemline. Styled by Molly Dickson, Sweeney wore the gown with, polished black pumps, a dark leather Versace bag, and kitty- eye sunglasses. She added some little hoop earrings and rings to the black collection, which also included gold and diamonds.
Sweeney’s second match included a wonderful creation from Khaite, which was piece biker woman, part retro. It was a curved knitted wool and leather midi dress from the brand’s Spring 2024 collection, which features a strapless leather admonish- neck top, a knitted drop waist cinched with gold buttons—à la 1940s style—and an enormous leather poplin skirt.
With a pair of sharp black leather boots with a metal heel foot and buckles all over, a dark croc-embedded brake and triangular shades, the Euphoria star added even more edge to the look. She kept her same jewelry.
Sweeney wrapped up her day with a red carpet appearance and the live recording of Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast. At the event, Sweeney opted for a look that suggested her onscreen personas in both movies, particularly her decision to switch from cheesy rom-com Anyone but You to bloody horror film Immaculate. A tutu-esque skirt with three layers of silky ruffles and a sheer floral lace cutout at the waist, embellished with black gems, made up the main piece. Sweeney paired the LBD with a Matrix-like black coat with a slight sheen, sheer black Calzedonia tights, and pointy black heels with an ankle strap. For this look, she opted for elongated black sunglasses that made her look like a spy undercover, plus her same jewelry.
Sweeney’s rosy makeup and her new, choppy blonde bob only made her look more chic.
