A nonprofit organization in Dayton, Ohio ( Dayton Business Journal ) is looking for$ 1.5 million in funding to build a new headquarters there. Growing programs and other services provided to resource-challenged job seekers may be aided by the new facility.
Since 1998, Clothes That Work has been a local organization that offers job seekers in Montgomery County training, image counseling, and expert clothing. It now plans to build its new headquarters in Dayton and buy another workforce reach vehicle.
Over the past five years, the company has grown significantly, with more than twice as many consumers served between 2018 and 2019. That trend started to decline in 2020 but immediately recovered in 2021. Clothes That Job is positioned to provide 3, 000 customers this season, which is 500 more than the non-profit has ever done. This stage of expansion necessitates a facility that offers extra operational room, retail space for the company’s boutique, clothing donation warehouse, garages, and loading docks for mobile outreach vehicles, donations of clothing and customers.
The nonprofit asks for$ 1.5 million in federal funding to help with the project.
