After Charles Middle School adopted a new outfit code legislation that forbids individuals from wearing all-black, the El Paso Independent School District claimed in a speech that the city and Charles Middle School had a problem communicating.
“The school initiated a speech with the area in April, and after careful thought, the proposed changes were approved at the school level”, the statement read.
In the state’s speech, EPISD recommended revisions, including substituting shade options for students, mandating safe boots, and eliminating sweaters with masks and pockets to reduce opportunities for hiding, using, and distributing prohibited items.
The school may obtain the necessary approval at the area level, according to EPISD, even though the school supported these recommendations.
” Unfortunately, the college quickly communicated the dress code change as a last choice rather than a suggestion. We regret the confusion, especially the goal behind the modifications”, the statement said.
