Okay, it’s decided— I’m flipping the script on my natural closet this spring. I’m often all about that less- is- more vibe—minimalism is almost my center name—but since, I’ve been feeling the urge to mix things up a bit, because why not, best? I’m experimenting with a bit of a realist style, which involves mixing up the color and pattern in my regular outfits and observing where it leads. And now that hippie is up with a 2024 release, there’s always been a better time.
Since the sun is set to start immediately, I figure clothes are a good place to start. Was frequently mentioned when I asked my Who What Wear UK coworkers where I may look for garments that would work best. One look at the new- in part and I can see why, the company has once again nailed that naturally great, L. A. girl vibe, and that’s exactly what I’m before. The latest collection is like a love letter to flower, with large, comfortable pieces mixing easily with flirty, gentle touches. In a design fusion that’s natural magic, pastel hues and lively pops of color come together.
I started putting off my simple credentials after adding so many of these outfits to my shopping list. Wait till you see the Feeling Groovy compact, it’s essentially light in dress form—flowy, flowering and begging for a picnic time. Then there’s the Made Me Smile minidress, aka my fresh day- to- day warrior. It’s very fashionable, quick to dress up or down and I only know it’ll be comfortable.
Let’s not rush past the details though. I’m feeling so inspired by this collection that I feel like I’m rediscovering the joy of dressing up all over again. I’ve come to the realization that I can embrace a little maximalism while maintaining my minimalist roots. After all, getting dressed should be about having fun with our fashion choices.
