Seasalt, a Scottish clothing company, has revealed ambitious plans to enter the North American market.
With programs for 20 sources over the following three years, the company plans to open its first business in America in June.
The brand’s latest emphasis is on the northeast, specifically the eastern coast, and the first store will be in the New England region. Seasalt will be the sole operator of the US businesses.
Paul Hayes, the CEO of Seasalt, stated that today is a historic day for the company as it announces its purpose to open its first salt stores in North America. With up to 20 businesses planned to open over the course of the next three decades, we have our sights firmly fixed on the US marketplace.

Jason McNary, who joins the team as consulting director ( North America ) and reports to CEO Hayes, will be in charge of US expansion. McNary is a confirmed leader with extensive expertise in the fashion industry. He is well-known for his in-depth knowledge of DTC models and his capacity to create businesses internationally. He most recently served as CEO of the Colonial jewelry company UNOde50 and as president of Agnés B., a French fashion designer.
