Even more high-end shops are joining American Dream’s roster of tenants.
Canada Goose
Canada Goose, a live brand, made its seventh permanent storefront on the East Coast on November 10 in the luxury wing of the Meadowlands megamall. Following The Mall at Short Hills, it is also Canada Goose’s following location in New Jersey.
The 4, 200-square-foot keep on Level 2 of the Avenue provides a selection of efficiency clothing from the American retailer, including clothing and accessories as well as gardens and rainwear. A collection of Inuit works by painters Kyle Scheurmann, Patrick Thompson, Ooloosie Saila, and Nicotye Samayuale are also on display at the new site.
The 66-year-old Toronto-based firm, known for its high-quality clothing, announced plans earlier this year to expand its online presence and more than twice its financial footprint to 100 stores by 2028. Beyond heavy and light jackets, Canada Goose also wants to diversify its product line by including items like rainwear, apparel, footwear, eyewear and luggage.
Monday through Friday, 11 am to 9 am on Saturday, and closed on Sunday will all be Canada Goose at American Dream.
Voltaire & Zadig
Another new addition at American Dream is Parisian ready-to-wear fashion house Voltaire & Zadig.
The nearly 3, 000 square feet shops, the brand’s first New Jersey shop, is situated on Level 1 of the opulent aircraft and sells equipment, clothing, and womenwear.
Founded in 1997, Voltaire & Zadig gained recognition for its fashion-forward, rocker-chic-inspired collections and now has nearly 400 retail stores in 30 countries around the world.
In commenting on the store’s Nov. 8 grand opening, American Dream Senior Vice President and General Manager Bryan Gaus said, “We are beyond excited to add another global luxury brand like Voltaire & Zadig to The Avenue. Their unique craftsmanship and design will be a great addition to our property as we continue to provide our guests with the very best in luxury retail.”
Voltaire & Zadig will be open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and closed Sundays.
