Mother-of-the-bride sparks conversation with bridal-like clothing

A bride-of-the-bride wore a gown that some claimed resembled a bridal gown, sparking a debate online.

Beverly Norberg may have outdone Sydney Marie Slavens on her big day, despite the fact that it was n’t her intention. The 28-year-old shared special times with her mother before the wedding on Instagram by posting a carousel of videos from her.

Slavens, an Orlando-based wedding photojournalist, donned a modern, square-neck Ines Di Santo silk gown, while Norberg wore a strapless, child blue Nadia Manjarrez dress with decorative detailing and ruching.

Speaking to, Norberg admitted she tried on 30 clothes before she, her father, her brother, and of course, her child agreed the satin dress was the one. Slavens believed the outfit to have the proper balance of intrigue and texture for her mother, and that is when she had the final say.

As a wedding photojournalist, Slavens knew the dress would shine in the pictures, complimenting her dress the correct number. More than that, Norberg had been Slavens ‘” things blue”, a long-standing marriage service history.
