Chicago State, Wis.— A social media post with more than 2, 000 stock caught our notice after columnist Jenna Rae was tagged in a post.
It has to do with a tailor-made- made prom gown a Milwaukee artist, Jeanie Hughes, said somebody stole from her pop- up shop. Rae met up with Hughes Thursday, who said despite the money and time lost making the costume, she forgives the bandits.
For the last century, Hughes has honed her art.
” I generally just try to make what comes to me,” Hughes said.
It was a love that developed in the most unanticipated means for her.
” In 2012, I had lower hardwood integration. I could n’t work anymore, but I found out I was having a granddaughter, and I decided to buy a sewing machine and make her some clothes”, Hughes explained.

” There was a group of women that came in together, one particular woman who tried on a costume, called me over while she was trying on her dress, and she was asking me a lot of questions, and she took the gown off, and she decided not to find it”, Hughes said.
While distracted, Hughes said the woman’s friends stole the dress off the plate and left.
” I was hurt because I feel like I did it all for everything.” If she had talked to me, I would’ve helped her out like I helped the other girls out it”, Hughes added.
