Leah O’Donnell’s love for style is reflected in Ravda Clothing.

Leah O’Donnell, who was only 16 at the time, started her own children’s clothing company three years ago.

The local of Donegal Town attended Scoil an Linbhosa in Killymard before moving on to the Abbey Vocational School there, where Leah started her business, Ravda Clothing.

She told DonegalLive,” I decided to start a clothing brand because I was interested in having my own company because my dad owns one. I’m also curious about fashion and clothing, but I decided that would be the company I would start.

In 2020, Leah debuted her clothes line on the website Ravda Clothing, and in 2021, she opened a Christmas pop-up shop. Leah runs the company on her own, with the occasional assistance of her close pals for modeling.

Leah admitted that it was challenging at first but was made possible with the help of her parents, Marie and Geoffrey O’Donnell, when she talked about starting a business while also attending college at the same time.

Leah’s families have experience in business ownership because they own Donegal Wholefoods, a specialty food store that sells heath and snack foods and is based in Drimark in the town.

Leah continued,” I had to use all of my saving to get it started because there was a lot of strain on me to start my own business when I was young.” ” My family, especially my parents, were so supportive of me starting a company that it really helped.”

Ravda is a town in the Black Sea region of southeast Bulgaria’s Burgas Province, which includes seaside villages and seaside resorts.

” My family and I used to go on vacations to Bulgaria and it is a city we would explore whenever we were on vacation that,” Leah used it as her company name. I thought it would be appropriate to use the brand because I liked it.

Ravda Clothing provides a wide selection of stylish and reasonably priced garments, from casual wear to semi-formal attire. The company now serves women from early youth to late thirties.

Leah continued,” The web has grown over time and is still doing so.” ” I was able to get in a wider variety of stock the more persons bought.”

The best-selling items, in Leah’s opinion, are dresses and jackets, particularly shackets that are a combination of an outfit that consists of both the top and the suit. The online store is stocked according to the latest season and what is in style; it really depends on the events that are coming up and the products that customers will be searching for.
