PARKERSBURG,. With prom year just around the corner, the Wirt County High School donated nearly 80 clothes in sizes 0 through 3x for a free giveaway.
” We are having an event called say yes to the graduation gown.” We learned that there were roughly 80 prom dresses that the Wirt County High School had stored at Kelly’s Closet MOV since until 2020 when we received a call from them. said Kelly Polinsky, Founder of Kelly’s Drawer
Foster or connection children can find out three clothes at Kelly’s Closet for free each month, but everyone can attend.
” Foster children and brotherhood maintenance children who are being cared for or sharing a home with other than their biological families. Because we understand how children develop, those kids are only allowed to purchase at Kelly’s Closet once per quarter. But, today’s event is just a little unique offer allowing everyone to arrive and participate. We are hoping to only give back to the community around because we have for an abundance and really beautiful clothes. said Polinsky
She is aware that everyone should be able to participate in a proper dance because dresses are expensive.
” In many cases, I believe there are probably young women who would love to attend the graduation but may not be able to afford a outfit.” I mean, they can be truly expensive. So, I believe that’s what it’s all about if, by giving this and paying this forward, a young lady can go to a formal dance, prom, or something else she would n’t normally be able to do, that’s what it’s all about. said Polinsky
Ava Smith has been looking for the ideal prom dress, and she has suddenly chosen the right one!
Because I was constantly looking for a prom dress but could n’t find one, it makes me feel very happy that this place did it. The people are very kind, and they were very welcoming, and it was very kind of them to hold this event. said Smith
She described how beautiful the clothing is and how she did think sultry like Cinderella.
” More like a delicate flower green, very sweet, very frizzy, very full clothes. And covered in flowers and much jewels, its got like keys down the back, it is kind of an 80s clothing. Because of how gorgeous it is, I’m going to feel wonderful and like Cinderella.
With the aid of funds, they hope to keep organizing this celebration each year.
