Duchess Sophie met with younger patients

The Duchess of Edinburgh came to visit us and talk to some of our people, which was a pleasure. Some of the hospital’s children are the most sick, and many of them require a lot of support and treatment as a result of the circumstances they are in, according to Julie Cooper, Ward Manager.

Some children stay longer than others, so we have the chance to develop long-lasting relationships with our children and their families, and it was quite unique and uplifting for them to match Her Royal Highness.
