It comes after Daisy was cruelly hanged by Paul Mescal while she was on the radio.
The artist, 26, appeared on BBC Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James on Wednesday, where they played a round of S it Down, Stand Away.
Daisy decided to call her Normal People co-star Paul, 28, initially, but admitted: ‘ Paul rang me on this present and I did n’t truth.’
Guest Greg replied: ‘ That’s correct, you blanked him. When no one arrived, he was thus depressed.
Daisy said:’ Well I have a feeling he wo n’t pick up to me, so maybe it’ll be a bit of relief it is not just him, it is n’t personal.’
Therefore, according to Daisy, Greg said he would be sitting, and Paul had remain standing.
The phone subsequently starting calling, with Daisy quipping,’ Oh! He hung away. Wow. He simply snorted.
They tried to call him a second time but Paul did n’t answer, leaving Daisy to say:’ I think we accept defeat.
‘ It’s great, we are also. It is one all. I’ll have solid terms with him eventually.’
It comes after Daisy revealed her romantic feelings for her near friend and co-star Paul.
Ever since they first met on the collection of Regular People again in 2019, the trio has delighted fans with snippets of their wonderful connection.
Then, in a fresh interview with Variety, the artist, 26, revealed that she considers the Gladiators II sun, 28, to be one of her ‘ life best friends’.
She stated to the publication,” He’s an extremely grounded people and I’m too, I think, so it’s nice to have those touchstones and those persons you may laugh about it with and be playful with.”
‘ We met when I was 20 and Paul was 22, I’m so excited to see where we’ll remain at 32, 42, and what life may bring us.’
The pair’s split comes only after they spent the weekend up, when they were spotted partying at the famed Glastonbury Festival, which immediately sparked a furious outcry among their fans.
The actress shared photos from the Worthy Farm songs event, including a photo of her enjoyable reunion with Paul, to send fans of the hot BBC drama into a high tempo.
‘ Glasto, you’ve been great to me,’ Daisy captioned the article, which showed her and Paul with their arms wrapped around one another.

Daisy just made a statement regarding the possibility of a next season of Standard People.
When the BBC Three version of Sally Rooney’s book first aired, the actress rose to fame in 2020 after only 12 shows.
Ordinary People, playing opposite Paul, followed Marianne Sheridan and Connell Waldron, Paul’s character, through their school years.
Daisy has then acknowledged that that is where the tale ends.
During an appointment with Entertainment Tonight, the artist was asked about the possibility of a follow-up line, but she responded: ‘ No there is no time two that I know of!’
If it was off to Daisy though, she would examine Marianne and Connell, flowing: ‘ It was really specific, I love those characters and that world, I would love to explore where they are ten years later.’
The pair apologized in May for “leading people on” after cryptically posting they had “news to share.”
Many fans of the BBC show assumed a second series would be made public, but they now know it wo n’t be reuniting with viewers, leaving many disappointed.
Daisy and Paul made it known that they would instead be hosting a marathon screening of Normal People’s first season to raise money for Pieta, a suicide prevention organization, and Unicef.
In a joint video on Instagram Paul said: ‘ Hello, The news is, and we are incredibly sorry if we led people on, it’s not a season two’.
While Daisy added: ‘ Not yet! There’s still time, keep the faith! ‘.
More than a year and a half after signing on for the role, Daisy revealed in the Variety interview that she is not playing the singer-songwriter Carole King in a biopic.
She had signed on to star in Sony’s movie adaptation of Beautiful: A Carole King Musical, which had a five-year run on Broadway from 2014 to 2019.
The actress revealed that she was no longer a fan of the project despite little that had been revealed so far.
‘ That’s no longer happening. They made the decision to stop following Carole’s story a year ago, but I love her and I love that story. I did learn a lot of piano,’ she said.
Variety confirmed that the movie is still being developed at Sony despite the actress ‘ apparent implication that the project was no longer being completed.
Later in 2024, Daisy will appear in American disaster film Twisters, and it will be her fourth feature film.
Paul, meanwhile, will appear in Gladiator II, and is currently filming American coming-of-age musical-comedy Merrily We Roll Along.
