We just hit the 80oF level in New York, and while I was walking to the grocery shop that day, I realized how desperately I needed to reset my STAT. Some simple can be easily achieved with trench coats, cardigans, and more because of these remarkable high temperatures and nighttime lows. And I could n’t help but imagine all the cute ways to wear them with the season’s, as well. So I searched Instagram for a little extra motivation and came up with 8 simple dress and shoe combinations. Seriously—these are that simple.

All of the dress forms I found really happen to be extremely pleasant, too. There are many sinuous, column dresses, bodycon knit designs, including some fit-and-flare styles that can be worn with great, toned sandals and sporty sneakers, as well as strappy, kitten heels. Although these dress and shoe styles are all seeing a rise in fashion, they are pretty much that you wo n’t ever regret purchasing—they’ll always be in style. Go ahead, getting inspired with some of my friends below.

Strappy feline shoes and a rubbed knit clothing

A white rib-knit dress feels weather suitable as you transition your wardrobe into the hotter months while also providing some protection when the nighttime temperatures dip. For a casual yet elegant appearance, this pair of black puppy heels can be worn to work, dinner with friends, and other occasions.

Sleek Column Dress + Mary Janes

Get museum chic with a much, dark column dress that screams fashion- ahead. When paired with dark, Mary Jane condos, it’s a match made in heaven. Put some contrast by adding some extremely cool accessories like a second bracelet bracelet and an optical white handbag.

Red Stretch Dress + Leopard Pumps

We are currently obsessed with the color purple, and it’s no mystery that. Best today, we are lusting after this somewhat darker, cherry color in form- appropriate dress silhouettes. For a nod to the nineties that does n’t feel too retro, we enjoy pairing these frocks with a little leopard print.

Polka Dot Slip + Retro Sneakers

This combination will help you move through 15K steps per time, lengthy gallery lines, and numerous espresso stops if you are planning to travel to Europe soon ( or any area location for that matter ). Break up the dainty polk dot pattern with a retro- inspired sneaker and do n’t forget the scrunched, cotton socks!

Shirred, Puffed- Cuff Dress + Pointed- Toe Mules

Consider pairing your smocked dresses with a point-toe horse foot for a new design trend if you still yearn to keep those cottage-core feelings going ( let’s face it, a cool costume is always on trend ). It’s equal parts romantic, polished, and oh- so- fabulous.

Corset Seamed Dress + Thick Strap Sandals

A little more detail can be added to an otherwise straightforward silhouette in seamed dresses. With a contrast of black sandals, it looks so fresh. Just make sure yours has a thick strap to give it a little organic feel. A cute pendant necklace and tonal shades do n’t hurt, either.

Drape- Front Dress + Strapped, Buckle Shoes

Nothing is simpler than a draped dress. It will be your one-and-done wardrobe choice that feels a little more unique than a plain tank dress. For an unexpected accessory pairing, wear them with those Y2K- inspired, buckled shoes you’ve been seeing everywhere. It’s a completely novel way to simply style them.

We are here for the moment when the mixed media dress takes off. Meaning typically made from two different fabrics, with linen or poplin being the most common material for soft, modal tanks on top and stiffer, modal tanks on bottom. Style with square- toe flats now, and a lace- up sandal later.
