Human remains and clothing discovered in Akamas

In Akamas, human bones and clothes fragments were found just before noon.

A police commander who had gone hunting in the area with companions discovered the mortal remains and clothes relics around 11 a.m. and called Paphos Police, according to philenews.

A forensic doctor and an archaeologist from the Paphos Crime Investigation Department arrived at the location for investigations. Their travel was made easier by a policeman helicopter due to the difficult terrain.

Specialists believe that the legs possibly belong to someone who has been missing since March 2022 based on preliminary studies.

The event is being looked into by police.
