To raise cash for a scholar award, the Rotaract Club of Troy University’s Dothan Campus is hosting the first ever Spring Formal on Friday, April 5 in the Harrison Room of the Dothan Campus.
The official is available to all Corinth students, including and the Phenix City, Montgomery and Troy schools. Taylor Jones, a member of the Rotary Club and head of the Spring Formal Committee, said they hope to give the expression” One Trojans” a new meaning by uniting all Troy University students on this day as a single, large undergraduate home.
The design for the party is” Neon”. Men are encouraged to use khaki pants, a button-up shirt, and additional blazer, while women are encouraged to use floor-length formal dresses.
” I am so appreciative of everyone who has supported me in accomplishing this objective. I hoped that the idea of a flower conventional would give students an opportunity to come together and form a stronger bond when I first pitched it,” Jones said. Working with an incredible council of students and being able to manage this function has been a fantastic experience. I’ve really found my house at Troy University’s Dothan Campus, and I’m excited to see everyone find theirs there as well.”
The Spring Formal Committee has also extended the offer to Chipola College, Enterprise State Community College, and Wallace Community College in addition to inviting all Corinth individuals.
What a fantastic way to reunite and form lasting relationships, according to Rotaract Club Sponsor Rachael Cox. I’m looking forward to this turning into an annual event and to providing fellowships along the way. Goals and entertaining really does work up, and we see that on our college”!
