The Boys & Women Leagues of Collin County is hosting a from 11 a. m. until 2 p. m. on Saturday, March 23 at the Boys & Girls Clubs ‘ Plano tree. At this completely event, local teens will be able to purchase for the perfect gown in time for prom time.
Six Dallas-area Comerica banking facilities collected 380 fresh or gently used formal dresses as well as accessories from other coworkers, customers, and the group last month in support of new companion the Boys & Girls Club of Collin County, Dallas CASA, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas. The event is organized in partnership with Comerica Bank. Participants from Comerica’s North Texas Women’s Forum will been lending a hand at the event.
One participant from each benefiting nonprofit received a complimentary makeover ( including full hair and makeup ) valued at$ 175 on the night of their respective proms in order to honor Comerica’s 175th anniversary. Additionally, in partnership with Legacy West, Project Beauty freely donated 60 dresses from its yearly prom dress travel to the Collin County Boys and Girls Clubs.
At the future occasion next Saturday, Project Beauty will also be handing out Live Causemetics stuff sacks to teenagers. Project Beauty’s vision revolves around spreading independence through the universal speech of splendor, aiming to help women increase confidence, develop hope and offer mutual support and encouragement.
All Collin County area youth, who need help attending graduation, are encouraged.
