This Winter, the Career Success office plans to open a Career Clothing Closet for all UC Santa Cruz students. A Career Clothing Closet provides students with business professional and business casual clothes for interviews, career fairs, formal events, or any career-related function on and off campus.
To help build the closet’s inventory, Career Success collects professional attire throughout the rest of the fall quarter. Everyone in the UC Santa Cruz community is invited to donate any new/lightly used professional clothing. Your donations will help students feel ready for job interviews and other career-related activities.
Below are the donation requirements.
All clothing should be:
- Clean
- New or lightly used
- Free of any tears, holes, or stains
- Ready to wear
- Good-to-excellent quality
- Ideally, purchased within the last five years and current with fashion
- Appropriate for an interview
Ideas for Donations:
