A bride has been made fun of online for wearing a see-through wedding gown down the aisle.

The Swedish woman, Pernille Rosenkilde, caused a stir in the revealing outfit which some folks called’ improper’.

Pernille’s look was was her own design and featured a feathered vest over a leotard with a sheer, veil-like skirt.

‘ I love wearing feathers and see-through fabrics, but I also wanted the dress to be elegant, classy and a bit sexy,’ she told Vogue Scandinavia.

After a photo of the bride’s dress was shared in a well-known wedding shaming group, people quickly criticized her unique style.

‘ This woman wore this to a church wedding, she turned up in underwear to a house of prayer,’ one woman said.

The design itself eluded the majority of people’s inquiries as to whether or not it was appropriate to wear to a church.

‘ I do n’t care if it was a house of pancakes, it’s an ugly, awkward outfit with granny panties and a muppet top,’ one woman said.

Most people had trouble accepting the distinctive bridal design.

‘ Was the inspiration big bird swimsuit, but make it wedding,’ one woman asked.

‘ When you have a wedding at 2PM, and the parallel bars at 3PM,’ another joked.

The bride of a fashion designer was criticized for daring to be unique on her special day by some.

‘ She looks f****** fire,’ one woman said.

‘ Eh. You don’t get to be an influencer by being boring,’ another said.

Many believed it to be “prudish” and outmoded, blaming the bride for her lackadaisical behavior.

‘ Lord, not legs in a building,’ one woman said.

‘ Priests have done much worse in church,’ another man said.

Others didn’t mind blasphemy and bridal gowns that caused a bit of ‘ pearl clutching’.

However, some still argued that the bride’s gown should have been more appropriate for the setting.

‘ I’m an atheist but it’s called respect for other people. I wouldn’t wear it to a church,’ one woman said.

The groom also didn’t get away unscathed.

He was criticized by many for his baggy” Chicago gangster” suit and slipper-style shoes.

‘ It’s worse than her ‘ dress’… he looks like a multiple DUI offender,’ one woman said.

‘ Whoever hemmed his pants needs to confess their sins,’ another woman joked.
