Bridal expert reveals the must-have trends for 2024.

Event whiz Tsitsi Lynn Makuni claimed that mini gowns, bows, and bold accessories are some of this season’s must-haves for marriage.

RING THE CHANGES– brides are opting for not one, but two dresses.

Short dresses were a huge hit at the Scottish Wedding Show’s October Catwalk, and Tsitsi claimed more bridal shops are now offering shorter styles.

BRIGHT NOT WHITE– White and ivory dresses are no longer a given because more designers offer pastel designs, and there will also be demand for more bold colors.

BE BOLD– the accessories, too, will be as bold as our dresses. Expect to see dramatic headbands, pearl- embellished veils, elegant gloves and retro sunglasses.

This wedding trend is exhibiting no signs of slowing down, the expert explained. From small bows on headpieces and shoes to oversized bows on dresses, take a bow.

She explained that wearing it more than once was one of the main reasons she’d opted for a less flashy and OTT frock, whether it was for a dinner date or to go grocery shopping.

I do n’t want to throw it away in my closet because it’s too cluttered and I do n’t want to sell it, but I want to keep wearing it so it can remind me of the lovely day we had. ‘

Tiva also said that as it was a civil wedding, no one really wears’ ‘ crazy, luxurious’ ‘ frocks on such occasions- however, if this is something you wanted, she was all for it.
