BIRMINGHAM, Alabama ( WBRC )- On Thanksgiving, members of the Eastern Star Sunlight Chapter 246 gathered in Linn Park, Birmingham, to distribute clothing and other necessities to those who were homeless.
According to the event’s promoters, Linn Park was chosen this year instead of Kelly Ingram Park.
They claim that in order to assist those who are outside during the winter, they wanted to spread clothing.
The organization offers amenities and other demands to Birmingham residents in need all year long.
