On Saturday, if you were driving down N Gilmer Ave, there was probably a sizable audience having and praying in the parking lot. On Saturday, the Tabernacle of Praise Chruch International in Lanett held its yearly Operation Acquisition Pull-up for Prayer function.
The community receives completely home-cooked foods and clothing during the Thanksgiving and Easter week event. The church has been conducting the clothing and food drive for six years, but after observing the effects, Church Overseer Derrick Vines stated that they now hold them twice a month.
” We’re not just confined to the church’s four windows; we can also venture outside and into the neighborhood.” We are outdoors immediately so that people can see that someone genuinely cares about you, according to Vines.
