This means that selling second-hand clothes on the website is no longer required, even if it has keywords and never been worn.

According to analysts, eBay’s desire to compete with common second-hand clothing apps like Vinted and Depop is driving the move. A younger industry is keen to encircle these apps, which is a trend that eBay is trying to infiltrate.

But, trainers, watches, handbags and earrings are never covered by the new legislation and vendor charges still apply.

In order to reduce waste from clothing and transition to a round business, eBay has stated that promoting more people to buy and buy pre-owned clothing is essential.
