Testimony saw machetes swung at the murdered girl, according to Owen Dunn.

According to a jury, two youngsters saw the knife blast that killed an 18-year-old.

On December 4, 2022, Owen Dunn was stabbed and passed away on a road in Swindon.

Tyler Hunt, 18, of Princess Cottages, Swindon, and an unnamed 15-year-old child both deny being involved in his crime.

Two witnesses during their demo at Bristol Crown Court, a 13-year-old girl and sailor, claimed to have seen two boys process Mr. Dunn with batons before he passed out.

The two young witnesses appeared in court on the second day of the murder trial to be cross-examined from behind screens during recorded police interviews with them.

The 13-year-old claimed to have been in the road with two friends when the attack occurred and that she had seen two boys walking while wearing face masks before they stopped and dismounted when they spotted Mr. Dunn.

She claimed to have seen one of the boys reach into his clothing and bounce a machete at Mr. Dunn, who then rode off on his bicycle before collapsing.

The witness claimed she was thus terrified that she hid behind a tree with her friends because she had seen pictures of the blade online and knew it was one.

The prosecutor was informed that the boys who had been holding the weapons cycled past the witnesses ‘ cover and spoke to them as they went.

The young woman and her companions then approached Mr. Dunn, who was lying on the ground. He died at the picture despite CPR by a member of the public after two people stopped to assist.

The next witness, a 15-year-old boy, claimed to have seen two males jump off their bikes when they saw Mr. Dunn riding up on one. The boys then shouted,” Who are you?” before removing their weapons from their pants and running in his direction to attack him.

He informed the court that the kids ‘ faces were covered and they wore a lot of black garments with masks.

He claimed to have seen them both swing weapons at Mr. Dunn, one of which missed, but the other caught him, and the effects caused the victim’s coat to stretch.

The boy said the machetes were one silver and one black, and they were both between 12 and 13 inches ( 33 cm ) long.

It was very terrible when I realized they had stabbed him, he continued, adding,” I was extremely surprised to see a weapon that huge in the middle of the street and during the day.”

The child claimed to have seen what appeared to be a significant slice and blood as Mr. Dunn passed out.

Mr. Dunn was discovered to be carrying a knife and was originally reported to the courtroom wearing balaclava, but none of the witnesses claimed he did.

Both plaintiffs admit to being at the scene and entering guilty pleas to having a weapon in their hands, but they assert that they were acting in self-defense.

The test is anticipated to take three days.
