BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Pink Lily Boutique partnered with Bowling Green Independent School District to giveaway free clothing and other helpful resources.
The family-owned and run boutique provides clothes and accessories- that have never been worn, to every kind of woman for free.
This clothing giveaway provides more than just clothes.
According to Jennifer Shoemake of BGISD, this event not only gave back to women, it also prepared women for future opportunities that may come their way.
“We have a little bit of everything, their sweatshirts, some dressier clothes. You know, if someone has an interview coming up, items for that, a little bit of everything. Times are tough right now for families. So clothing, this is one less thing that they have to worry about.”
The Bowling Green Independent School District will have more opportunities available for you to get involved in community service.
