Near the intersection of East Mill Plain Boulevard and V Street, a motorist in dark clothing was killed on Monday night.
About six in the morning, just before sunrise, there was a fall. The pedestrian was seen crossing Mill Plain on a crossing from the north, according to Vancouver police after an investigation. The driver saw the pedestrian but was unable to stop in time because the car was heading east.
According to a news release, more research revealed that the motorist, whose name was never given, did not turn on the overhead crossing signals before entering the crossing.
