She just lost 20 kg while on a heath journey.
And Jelena Dokic, 41, showed off remarkable figure change as she enjoyed a trip to Osijek, Croatia on Wednesday.
As she sipped a cup of coffee on the way home, the Channel Nine critic and former volleyball star looked dazzling in a short-sleeved, sherbet-colored dress.
She paired a pair of large, dark cat-eye glasses with some plain, gold rings.
Captioning the article, Jelena joked she was going for a’ amazing’ seem but may not have succeeded.
‘ Trying to get healthy cool while having my night espresso,’ she wrote.
‘ I do n’t think I am succeeding. This is more a “do n’t talk to me until I have my morning coffee” look.’
In a small follow-up picture, Jelena revealed the original article was supposed to be satirical.
She wrote: ‘ I am not convinced you all got’ my joke article ‘ yesterday.
‘ I was joking with my’ cool’ look which was more “do n’t talk to me look”. Obviously I did n’t look cool, I know I looked like “do n’t talk to me”.’
Jelena addressed common opinion last month about her recent fat loss, insisting that she dropped the kilograms for health reasons.
The Nine commentator posted a photo on Instagram that compared her present appearance to what she looked like in 2023, when she was 20 kg heavier.
She added that losing weight was not the end result of doing so, but rather a “byproduct” of making healthier choices in the message, stating that she was content in both photos.
The most crucial thing, she said, was that I generally look good and happy in both photos despite of my weight.
‘ This is about Wellness and no SIZE,’ she continued.’ But many questions about me getting healthier, which has seen me shed fat. Weight reduction was never a concern, it’s simply a byproduct of looking after my wellbeing.’
Addressing those who accused her of crash-dieting, Jelena went on to clarify: ‘ I did n’t lose weight quickly. I lost 20 grams in just under 10 weeks. Nothing quick.’
Jelena explained that she had lost fat because of” a family history of diabetes” and the truth that she had just been given a high blood pressure diagnosis.
She also revealed precisely how she went about doing it.
I stopped eating late at night, particularly burgers, pizza, potatoes, and sweets because they made me feel so weak when I did wake up, particularly for first night function and flights. So I do n’t eat heavy meals at night anymore and I do n’t eat after 7pm,’ wrote Jelena.
I’m now eating more soups and salads, like chicken caesar salad and tomato soup with flaxseed bread. I feel whole and not slow after eating this kind of food.
I’ve reduced my intake of soda, also diet soda, and presently drink more water.
It makes small changes over time, but I’m just starting to enjoy my hamburgers and fries time. I also do n’t eat any junk food when I work or travel. That’s it,’ she concluded.
