7 New Summer Trends That Fashion Insiders Are Replacing Their Staple Dresses With

Ask anyone for their go-to outfit for a night out, and I’d wager that the most common response is” and do n’t we all have at least one in our wardrobe” ( and I’d be willing to bet that ). The classics are fine, of course, and I would n’t ever recommend putting them away. However, the same dress that I was so excited when I first purchased is now starting to feel a little” samey” and I’ve been looking for an alternative. Style Notes: It’s always satisfying when a trend you bought into years ago is still going the distance, and for me it’s the satin slip skirt. Because it’s genuinely one of my wardrobe’s most difficult working pieces, I’ve worn the same black slip on and off for the past four years. Style Notes: It just would n’t be a complete 2024 rundown without mentioning capris, the trouser formally known as the” pedal pusher”. And yes, when we first heard about capris as women over the age of 7, we were unsure how to pull them off, but it’s now clear that capris are much more than pre-teens ‘ pants.
